That's great for the people who are stuck with it from accidents, born with it, ect, but I don't think it's necessarily a good thing. If there is a cure, what's to stop people from having unprotected sex now?

Lol I doubt people are gonna stop using condoms just because there might be a cure for aids x)

^I know a lot of people who already don't use protection because "it's uncomfortable," "it irritates me," "I'd rather pull out," ect. Some of these girls use birth control, but make their parter use a condom to prevent STDs.

Less risk for STDs = less use of a condom. Right?

It probably works. They are just trying to figure out another way to keep the uhh... "unwanted" population down before they distribute to the general public.

There are other STD's besides HIV that are very uncomfortable, you know? Herpes and Hepatitis B are both incurable and others, like Chlamydia and Gonorrea are also ugly/uncomfortable and have to be cured in a certain time period. Chlamydia is more common than HIV and can make girls lose their ovaries.
