Does anyone else love this game? It's my favorite strategy game and I even have it on my phone. It's the one game I can play on my phone for hours.

I get a thrill from conquering the world, especially if I was just down to 1 territory at one point.

I'm not a fun of very long board games, unless it is something fun like D&D.

I have RISK factions on XBLA does that count.
And on the subject of that. How does the CPU roll double 6s 5 times in a row?

i find it funny that an online version of risk had an ad up when i opened this thread
its fun and i use to play it with friends practically every week in middle school

I'd have to say Risk is a pretty fantastic experience. Definitely one of the more fun games I've played.

Risk has a habit of turning into absolute chaos when I play, so I rarely pull it out.
Last match I had ended with my friend and I creating an alliance and pouring all out units into Brazil. We had hundreds of men sitting there and building up a militia while my other friend owned the rest of the world and had absolutely no idea how he was going to operate an invasion on our stronghold.

I must point out on factions, I had about maybe 13 troops aiming for a 2 troop country which would have been for the win since it was the last checkpoint I needed, and they wiped out my entire army!!!
