The rumors that Nintendo will release a new console in 2012 are true. None of the other rumors have been confirmed tho.


So, Im going to go out on a limb and say E3 will definitely showcase the new Nintendo console.

Any thoughts?

Nintendo also confirmed a reveal at E3, and that a playable version of Café will be there as well.

Man, that ALWAYS happens, someone says what I intend on saying whilst I'm still typing my response :P

Not sure what to think.
Personally I still think we won't see a new console this year, they might announce a new console at E3 but still might be some time till it's out.
Everything is just a rumor for know but it will be intersting to see what NINTENDO does have up it's sleeves.

Well, it's not coming this year; they're just showing it off. They said it probably wouldn't be released at least after March, most likely near holiday season 2012.

Yeah, I hadnt read that tidbit of news yet.

My thoughts, even if they were planning on releasing it this year, and I had an interest in buying it, I wouldnt buy it this year.

And, unless they plan on delaying Skyward Sword to have it debut on the new console, there isnt going to be many good launch games, if any I dont think.

I'm not sure if my body is ready for a new console, but like everything it will come down to games and new features.
