Default Self Improvement

What was the improvement you've made upon yourself within the past 2 years?
Compare yourself from 2 years ago to now, and tell us how you've changed!

I noticed that I've become a much more generous, and caring person. But I've also become more depressed and self-rejecting. I've always been one to care more about pleasing others than myself, but now I'm more like, "I'll help you out and be a friend, but once I feel that you don't appreciate it, I'll stop." Also, within the past few years I've managed to realize that sometimes your dream won't come true, and I'm now thinking a bit more realistically toward the future.

That, and I've lost a bit of weight.

I've lost hell of a lot of weight. I'm now at 120lb. I'm quite content with that.

I've also been following my heart more than my brain lately, whether that's an improvement or not is debatable.

Lol this thread is kinda interesting but for me I am in the middle of quitting smoking I say in the middle of because i haven't smoked in a few weeks. Kinda hard to quit but mind over matter you know, aside from that I've become more of a relaxed carefree person and as SamuraiWarrior said couldn't care less about anyone else's two cents about what they think of me they can keep their change I'm earning mine.

I've become much more cognizant of the importance of my current status and the responsibilities that come with it all, I've gained so much confidence, I'm much less of an introvert, I'm a more caring person on the inside, and I've developed a very positive, relaxed perspective on life.

I still have a few things to catch up on, though, and every now and then, a wave of depression will come out of the blue, but fortunately it doesn't have much of an effect.

1. Lost 50 lbs, now I'm at 150 lbs, and I like it .
2. Treated my Love Depression, I'm finally free of the angst of have been rejected.
3. Opened up with more people in areas I wasn't an expert or knew a thing about it.
4. Made more friends than before.
5. Started to realize life is getting harder, and I must keep the pace, or I'll become a charge for anyone, including myself.

That's pretty much what has happened in the past two years, 1 year of psychology also helped me understand more the world around me and my own self =3.
