Default share your video game art

Has anybody got any drawings of their favourite characters or scenes from games that they can share?

im no artist but im currently working on some NintendArt based on

Thanks, I don't really time myself when I make them, but the Rathalos one took about a couple of weeks on and off, and the Spirit Train was probably less than that.

Thanks, I mostly use Maya for the modelling, and GIMP for texturing. I also used ZBrush for the Rathalos head for the sculpting of the details.

fantastic! how long have you been doing modelling? ive always wanted to to that sort of stuff but i really can afford it atm

I started just over 3 years ago in my 1st year of uni. We worked with blender first which is free, and quite capable. 2nd year of uni we used 3ds Max, and then moved onto Maya in the 3rd year which I've stuck with since.

A student license of Maya is relatively cheap compared to the proper one. Around £125 compared to over £3k.

would you recommend i try blender? im going to college soon to to 3d modelling but like i say i havent got the money so for my own program so as of yet ive had no experience. it really interests me but it does look complex, is it something you pick up and becomes easier? anyway, really good work
