Default Should I buy this?

Ok so I like video games and what not, but my true hobby is knife collecting. I dont like the fantasy knives (they look like ****) But I like tactical looking folders. I have a job and have the money to buy this blade but im just asking for an opinion. The knife is called the Cold Steel AK-47

Its 50 bucks. What do you guys think? Should I buckle down and buy it?

If you're a collector, shouldn't you get it regardless if it sucks or not?

I actually like getting blades I will use. The quality of this knife is amazing, the steel could be better as its only AUS8. The hollow ground blade is also a turn off. But the locking mech makes its almost as strong as an actual fixed blade.

Just comes down to the price 50-60 bucks

If you have the money and it won't hurt you financially, by all means, go ahead. Neat hobby.

Really depends. If im hiking I can use it for food prep, digging out splinters, which with this tip would work better than a needle. There is alot of things I use the for

Get a leatherman multi-tool. Unless you're a hardcore Bear Grylls survivalist this thing is going to be less useful than say the "Leatherman Wave", and even if you were a rugged bushman a fixed blade is going to be superior.
