It's a EMachines e161 hq

does anything need to be upgraded to play BATTLEFIELD 2(2005)?

Try system requirements lab it will test your system to see if it can play the game.

Just tested it on my system (even though it heats up when playing flash games lol)

Just click on the link and select Battlefield 2 as the game you want to test.

Flash games can use a lot of power, i've had proper games run easily whilst flash games can sometimes lag.

Just download java it is the best way of knowing if your system can run the game.

Download Free Java Software

Why don't you just download Java? Once you install that and run System Requirements Lab, it'll TELL you what you may need to upgrade in your computer :/
