But I really really really need help guys. I don't which tablet to get!!! I won't be using 3G so spare me on that.
What should I do? Please help!

I really like the Sony tablet s because it has better specs and is cheaper than the iPad. It also plays Playstation games!

Firstly, calm down. As for your question, it depends if you want the customization of android or the slick finish and 3g of the iPad 2.

Well my current laptop(MacBook Pro) is a little worn. It's an 08 and it's been having a few issues, so what I want to do is get something new, small, and portable that I can take and use anywhere. I basically want to leave my MacBook on my desk at home and never move it because I'm afraid of it dying due to its fragile state. I'm a writer so losing my HD on my MacBook would destroy me completely. All I want to do is have something I can take around with me(very active lifestyle) so I can write everywhere I go, and then bring it home and put everything I wrote onto the MacBook. Then write on the MacBook while I am home. I realize the iPad is underpowered for the price you pay. I see the Asus eee pad transformer prime, that looks very promising, but it is sold out everywhere. School starts Tuesday!

I also want to be able to take it to school and take notes on it. I really don't want to carry my heavy ass MacBook anywhere ever again.

If waiting is an option I would suggest you wait and get an ultrabook. Seeing as how it isn't, I think you should consider a netbook, not a tablet.
