Ok so rumor is spreading about the new wii very quickly, and to be honest I am more excited then i was for the 3ds. when e3 comes around, if the new wii is awesome enough, i wont be getting a 3ds. I just loved the wii so much with its motion controls, wiispeak, messaging system, AWESOME wii shop channel and so on so forth. I dont think i will be getting a 3ds. Sorry to the people i promised that i would, the new wii is just too awesome. David, i say you should make a forum for the wii 2. =) well, until we know the name of the new wii hehe.

This explains perfectly why the Wii 2 is coming to soon, it will cut into 3DS sales. Nintendo should have waited until E3 2013 to give the 3DS a chance.

This is not entirely true. the wii 2 will most likely come probably next spring or summer, that is plenty of time for the 3ds. also many people like home coonsols and hate portables and vice versa. the wii and ds didnt effect eachother, they both sold like crazy. why? because nintendo is awesome and they know what they are doing.

Yeah but gamers are gonna know about the Wii 2 like you and not buy the 3DS.

The Wii 2 will most definitely feature some type of "gotta have it" functionality with the 3DS. Nintendo isn't stupid, they've planned ahead.

From the rumors, I'm not impressed. The rumors say it's only as powerful as a PS3 and 360. Or just a little more powerful. It needs to be several times as powerful. Why? Because it's going to be competing against the successors to those which will be several times as powerful as the PS3 and 360.

Also I am hoping they ditch motion control, it's highly unlikely though.

Maybe you can stream 3D content from the Wii2 to your 3DS .

It's up to you what you want and what you buy .
