Default Speculation: Rare, Nintendo, and the Famous Microsoft

It is well known that Microsoft bought and now owns Rare, but ever since Bill Gates left Microsoft it became, almost exclusively, about the money. With Microsoft going as far as suing Google, do you think Nintendo has a chance at buying Rare back? Seeing as Nintendo has blown the video game industry again and profited so much from the Wii, DS, and is making a large profit on the 3DS they would be able to throw a lot of green at Microsoft for the Golden R. Apparently, Rare isn't doing much on Xbox and has done much better with Nintendo, do you think N would be willing to buy them back?

Why would Nintendo want to buy Rare back? All Rare does nowadays is make games for Microsoft imitating Nintendo games.

Nintendo sold them for a reason, they were hemorrhaging talent and on a steep decline. Then, after the sale, the founders of Rare left.

The Rare that was is no more, and Nintendo has no reason to buy them back.

Rare's glory days are long past.

I pretty sure Nintendo feels that Retro was a more than suitable replacement.
