Same response as the 2 posts above. Very good game play and one of the best time killers in my opinion. That little Samurai Slice mini-game is my favorite, I spent a whole shift at work playing that one.

Personally I thought it a good idea that fell a fair way short. I only had (before I sold it) the western version to go from (which I gather is different from the Japanese version), but the singing and words in the game are absolutely abysmal. The bit with the female singer singing to the monkeys is the bit I remember most for that - it was so badly sung it made me wonder if they just got one of the people who localised the game to sing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GebNY9D-qTo The music is sort of catchy while you play it, and when you get the hang of the level it's fun, but the actual quality of the music is often really, really bad imo. The gameplay is often fun though. I've read that the previous games in the series on the GBA were a lot better than the DS one... Again this is all imo, but for me personally stuff like Gitaroo Man and Ouendan pretty much destroy Rhythm Paradise/Heaven. Last edited by MidiSurfMind; 05-08-2011 at 12:23 PM. |
