Default Is Tron Legacy Good?

I'm thinking about buying this movie on blu-ray but have not seen it yet. Should I rent it first or is it good enough to buy on blu-ray?

Not really. The visual is great and the action scenes are awesome.
But as far as acting and plot goes... er, really wasn't that great.
Plus the main character, Flynn's son is such a cardboard cut out.

It's a good film. The acting's not great but that's not why you watch it. The music is awesome, as are the visuals. I'd recommend renting it at least.

So acting is not great but visuals are good...does that mean it's a good buy for blu ray or just rent it? Not trying to be rude. I appreciate all the feedback!

I thought it was pretty good for what it was. Sure, the plot could have been a little better, and I am already biased towards Disney movies, but I really liked it. I still hope the 3rd movie will be better, but it was still good.

It's a guilty pleasure. I usually hate on the explosion loving Transformers fans, but this movie was SO FREAKING AWESOME when it comes to visuals. And of course, Daft Punk are probably the best thing ever to come out of France. That is, of course, if I'm not missing something.

It has nice visuals, decent action scenes, and a catchy musical score by Daft Punk. Other than that the acting and plot are pretty underwhelming to say the least. Unless you're a big Tron fan- it's a rental at best.

Btw, Have you seen the first Tron?
