There are a lot of laws in the U.S. that people don't agree with, and people have good reason to not agree and to agree with them. Such laws that have huge controversy are:
1. Minimum drinking age is 21, almost everywhere else in the world it's 18 or under
2. 18 years old is the age you legally can have sex, in some states it's 16 and even 14 under certain conditions.
3. The Death Penalty still exists, why do some states have it and others don't? Shouldn't there be a universal resolution?
4. Abortion, should it be legal or illegal everywhere?

Well, I can see this conversation heading in the wrong direction already... but I vote for Abortion MAINLY BECAUSE it's a case-by-case thing. No, don't kill your baby if you're a reckless teenager, but you should have the choice if you're raped by your father, etc.

None of those other laws really apply to me. I love sitting on my 19 year old bum and drinking me some alcohol.

Well the sex one is age of consent. You can have sex at a younger age, just not with someone who is over 18. Abortion is the most controversial though

Just want to clarify here so people don't target others: "controversial" would be what stirs the most controversy. Not the one that should be opposed.

The sex law. Why would states make it to where legal age to have sex is 18? In South Carolina its 14.
