Okay so i was riding home from school today and wheni got home i was opening my door and my lil bro hit me sending my ipad flying (im taking the blame but you know) it landed screen down and the screen and the little black border are completly shattered. There is a long crack running diagonally along the screen and the corner of the black border is a spider web shatter.

Do you know the apple phone number (sorry couldnt find it)

Can they repair it?

Cost estimates?

If you bought it within a year it's still under warrantee and you can go to apple.com to get their number and see if they will replace it. I doubt it though.

Thats why you dont buy an ipad. Screens are made of glass which breaks so easily. Get a tablet that does way more (including runs FLASH! *gasp*) for less than half the price, and then when you drop it, it most likely will not break.

iPads are the only tablets worth getting. Screens only break after serious abuse. Treat your expensive gadgets with care and you won't have an issue. It's simple, really.

Oh, and Flash is on the way out. Which is great.

Not all glass is made equal. The glass in the iPhone 4 and 4S is harder than plastic, and I would assume the iPad and iPad 2 use the same material.

Flash is not a big need for a device such as this honestly. Plus flash will be able to be used on iDevices soon enough due to the new way flash will work. You won't have to install it on your devices or anything. Just visit the site.

I would like you to find a tablet PC running on android with comparable specs to the iPad that is half the price. I doubt you can do it.

Keep in mind that if anyone other than Apple works on your iPad, the warrantee is voided.
