Default What came first, the chicken or the egg?

See, I have this homework to discuss in depth a paradox. I have chosen to use 'the chicken and the egg' paradox... But now that I think about it, I have nowhere to start.

Teh pic is unrelated, I just thought it was genius.
Any suggestions?

Think about it. There had to be a chicken to sit on the egg to keep it warm. If there was just an egg it would die. I don't believe in evolution, so I don't think some other type of bird randomly had a chicken hatch from one of it's own eggs. The chicken was created the way it is now. Therefore, according to me, the chicken came first.

And evolution doesn't just happen like BAMN dinosaur made a chicken. It takes millions of years for the cells to mutate. We're evolving as we speak. Humans right now are on average taller than they were a thousand years ago. We are less hairy than we were on average a thousand years ago. Don't tell me this evidence isn't enough 0_o

Hi.

Also, I knew it was the chicken before this article. Think about it.

For the mutation from the previous animal to the modern day chicken, it would be in the egg of the previous animal. ONLY A CHICKEN CAN LAY A CHICKEN EGG, therefore the chicken must come first.
