Personally I think they lack of replay value. I have no time either desire for searching all the hidden stuff. But at the end, I still buy them for a good time while finishing them.

A couple of them are good. I enjoyed Link to the Past, Adventure of Link, Majoras Mask and Wind Waker.
But the majority range from average to just flat out boring. The series needs a massive overhaul.

The legend of Zelda IMO is one of the best video game series ever! I just wish some were a little longer and had more stuff to do after you've completed the main quest.

Zelda is my favorite franchise and the best franchise according to G4.
