| While the GBA Golden Sun games were some of my favourite RPG's of all time the new one was downright boring and medicore. Despite having good graphics, sound, and you could tell they spent a lot of time on the game. At the end of the day the gameplay sucked and the game wasn't fun. |

I remember thinking that Epic Mickey would be cool, but it was soooo boring, I literally fell asleep after 10 minutes. Btw, I really liked the DS Golden Sun. Sure, not as good as the GBA ones, but still very good. |

It was good, but not great. When you go from a 9.5/10 in my books to a 6.5/10. That is darn disappointing. =( Worst thing for me was how inconsistant the game was. For the first 3 hours it was just mashing the A button and attack. All of a sudden the first boss was hard! Then another 10 hours of mind numbing battles and all the other bosses are REALLY easy. Very strange balancing. =( Of course it's simply my opinion. Others liked the game. (Don't know anyone who loved it.) My friend had all the same compliants as me though and we were both huge Goldensun fans. (We actually just got talking about it one day and said all the same things about it.) |

^ this. I bought Epic Mickey for my wife after reading the reviews (she's into classic Disney things). Boring, shoddy controls, drab graphics, horrible camera. We only enjoyed the platforming bits in it... Should have known better than to buy a Wii game after the last five sucked... The Wii is dead. |

Sadly Buramy I've been disappointed by so many Wii titles. Dare I say it, but I couldn't even get through Twilight princess. (First Zelda game I haven't finnished and I've been a Zelda fan since Zelda 1.) It was one of those things: Sure it seems okay... But I'd rather be playing it on an Xbox. With all that said I wasn't really that disappointed and it was a high quality game. (I also helped my father beat a lot of the end bosses and such so pretty much played it all.) Some other Wii titles though... I've never experienced so much buyers remorse than with my Wii! (Except Wii Sports Resort, I LOVE that game.) |

Oh, actually my biggest disappointment in the last few years has been Test Drive Unlimted 2... I can't believe I forgot about that! TDU 1 was my favourite game on the Xbox 360 and I spent so many months on that game. TDU 2 was TERRIBLE! Argggg! I must have forgot, because it makes me so sad... "That makes me a sad panda."

Hmmm... Biggest disappointment goes to the following... Golden Sun DS - Although I still love Dark Dawn, and I love the series in general, it was nowhere near as good as the first 2 games. But in all honesty, it seemed as if Dark Dawn was only made to lead up to Golden Sun 3DS, which I think will be much better Final Fantasy X-2- Final Fantasy X was probably one of my favorite games of the series, with a sad but perfect ending, and a great storyline. When I heard about X-2 being made, I was happy. But then when it came out... It ruined one of my favorite female characters in gaming by making her a preppy girly girl, it made the already annoying character even more annoying, it made the battle system be about changing clothes, the game was nothing but side quests, the story wasn't good, and it completely reversed the things that made Final Fantasy X perfect. I could also say XI, XII, XIII, and XIV were quite disappointing as well. Kingdom Hearts: ReCoded - I love the Kingdom hearts series, especially for their fun gameplay and interesting storyline. ReCoded didn't fit either of them. It didn't contribute at all to the story of Kingdom Hearts except for the secret ending, and the dialogue was static, and the gameplay just rehashed worlds we have already seen with changed up battle mechanics. As for future games that I have been disappointed by thanks to news... Super Mario 3D - I was really stoked for this game, because I thought it would be a big adventure like Super Mario 64. But after hearing that all the worlds are linear and have a timeline and take about 3 minutes to beat, I was disappointed. Now it just sounds exactly like Super Mario Bros. but not a 2D platformer. I will miss the adventure part of Super Mario... |
