Default What Sony and MS need to do with the....

720 and the PS4 to pull ahead of project CAFE.
  • Make it BIG but not that big
  • have atleast 3 gigs of RAM
  • Have a £50s worth processor
  • £50s worth Graphics card
  • Have an 2 controllers in the box 1 small one like a normal x360/ps controller now and a keyboard sized one
  • And fill in all the other specs
Cost:£220
consumer Price:£325
Sound good?

At this rate, I don't think there'll even be a PS4.

We don't even know what Project Cafe is or what it is intended to do. Wait for E3. Right now we only have rumors.

Oh there will, question is will people trust Sony enough to buy it?

And all they need to do is be more powerful with better online, that's it, they won't even innovate.

I ment in a sense that the PS3 has lost Sony billions worth of money. The cost of the PS4 would be even more severe.

I just think the board might not be very anxious to release a new console.

But that was mostly because of the 600$ price point, Sony has been recuperating slowly since the PS3 got a 300$ price point and the Kevin Butler ad campaign. I think this will make a great learning tool for Sony's next console.

Yeah but if they don't then Nintendo and Microsoft future consoles would phase them out so they'll just make one and lose money to stay relevant if they have too.

Where is the logic here? If they lose money, they'll just pull out. It's a business. Atari and Sega went under, the current big three aren't immune to their fate either.

A PS4 will most certainly mean that we'll be buying 80-100 dollar games, no joke.
The added development costs are just not worth it and honestly.. how good do the graphics have to be? I think with the PS3 we've reached the point where there's no need for any graphical enhancements.

Expect a very small leap this upcoming generation. As in, maybe not even the Samaritan demo being able to run on them.

Of course, I think the ball is in Nintendo's court. They will dictate the moves made by Sony and MS. We shall see.

Until graphics look like real life then we can always go further. And it would be like if Sony stopped at PSP then the 3DS, 4DS, 5DS and so on would destroy them because they'd be no competition .

Imagine the development costs! Publishers are already struggling with 60dollar games, anything over it will be a nightmare.

Nobody is going to destroy anyone, because I honestly don't think that the graphical leaps will be that noticeable, as someone said before me. The big three can exist together perfectly. Project Cafe, assuming its an HD console, will just catch up with the 360 and PS3.

And don't give me that stuff that Cafe will be stonger than the PS3. So what? The PS3 is said to be stronger that the Xbox, but honestly I can't tell any difference between them.
