| Any minors? I started out this school year planning to major in Accounting, but I have recently changed my major to Computer Science, and I hope to transfer to a college in about a year that has a good Computer Science program. From the looks of it, there are a lot of colleges in California that have pretty good programs. So I will probably end up transferring to a college in California. |

Education right now ( I have my BA and a teaching degree, now I'm working on my Masters). My first time through college, I majored in Computer Science. However, I got tired of spinning my wheels through so many pre-req math courses that by the time I actually hit my three course Calculus series, I was burnt out on the idea of being a 3D engine programmer. I stopped going and got my tech certification, since hardware became my interest at that point. |

Was in Technical Management, but it's Justice Administration for now. I'll see where it goes.

@danzego I'm in that same boat right now with pre-req math classes. I currently am attending a CC for an AS in science and I plan to transfer into some uni's Mechanical Engineering program. The only thing is, the uni wants 3 calculus classes before I transfer. My current college requires Precal algebra and Precal trig before I can even think about Calc I. It's so frustrating. I can't even take Physics without Calc II. Thank goodness for summer classes.. :/ Last edited by Fortunado; 11-21-2011 at 03:42 PM. Reason: spelling |

To make it all worse, the college I was at did semester length terms (not quarters), so by the time I got to the first Calculus class, I had already been there for a two and a half years. Between those three Calc classes, I had another year and a half left to look forward to just to get my Associate's. Needless to say, I was a BIT disillusioned at that point. XD |
