So out of any of the big hairy gorillas adventures did you find the best personally My absolute favourite is Donkey kong 64 it had a lot of crazy levels to explore and the game had alot of stuff to collect and i collected everything on all 3 of those files that and i loved the bosses

Donkey Kong Country 2

Gotta go with Donkey Kong Country 2. I haven't enjoyed a DK game as much as that one.

Donkey Kong Country 1.
Haven't played 2.

It just has to be Donkey Kong Country 2. The music, the level design... it was all top-notch.

I've only played DKC 1 + 2 as well as DKCR. My fave currently is DKCR mainly for the new minecart levels, which are infuriating, but addictive. The last one kept me trying for about an hour.

DK94 is the best classic Donkey Kong game, but DKC > Classic DK

Donkey Kong 94 is also a fantastic game (in fact, just downloaded it on VC.) It's probably my second favorite DK game. But still, I think DKC2 trumps it.

But yeah, it surely counts as a DK game if the original does, so I don't know why it's not up there (and to a lesser extent, Mario vs DK 1.)

So far I've only played DKC1, DK64, and DKCR. I would say Donkey Kong Country Returns is my favorite.
