I have the original box of New Super Mario Bros, and to me it's worth a lot.

As for your question: I don't think the box would be worth that much unless it had the game cartridge with it.

Super Mario Bros game cartridges are worth nothing. I'm pretty sure it's the most common NES game out there.

Experts who follow the online sale of videogames estimate that fewer than 20 complete copies of the game exist, only two of which are known to be factory sealed. Copies of the game usually sell in the tens of thousands.
