I haven't watched it in forever so me and my bro watched 3 episodes tonight and literally ALL were depressing.

i haven't seen it in a while. But i don't remember it being depressing though, i'll watch it on youtube later though to see what your talking about.

yeah in almost every episode arnold or someone in the show is always sad or depressed hence why for me it,s boring.

It's been years since i watched it but i don't remember it being very depressing.

What happened in the episodes you watched?

I always thought that if Hey Arnold dipped into the depressing, it came out with a satisfying and perhaps inspirational end after all of it.

I think what would really depress me about Hey Arnold at this point is the huge nostalgia trip it would put me on.

Oh great, DINNER AND A SHOW! Move it football head! Hey arnold was one of the best modern cartoons. I feel bad for any child who didn't get to experience that and ginger. Cartoons nowadays are dumbed down for the masses. I can't believe I used to like fairy odd parents and crap like that. Maybe I'm just too old for those shows now. But I can watch spongebob, hey arnold, and ginger and still love it as much as I did when I was younger.

that use to be one of my favorite shows before Nickelodeon got the way how it is now.
