So I just replayed TWEWY for like the 3rd time but I still cant understand the end.

Here's my questions: please see if you can answer

1. Why did it say 7 days later when Neku re-awakened at the Scramble after getting shot by Joshua?

2. Is Sho really dead?

3. why did Joshua "collect Neku's entry fee" for their shooting game? (BTW I heard that his entry fee is his bullet. is that true?)

4. If Neku lost, why didn't Shibuya disappear?

I don't think it was ever made clear, but I feel this was Joshua's twisted way of showing Neku that he had returned them all to the RG. If you pay attention, the pedestrians passing by Neku as he screams "What the hell?!" actually look at Neku, indicating Neku's return to the RG. He basically had a whole week to figure out he was alive again.

Again, this is left unclear, but to be honest it's also completely irrelevant at this time. His body is still there, so its possible he was simply knocked out, but we don't really know anything.

More speculation here, but if you had collected all the Secret Reports, you'd know that a player's entry fee is what is most precious to the individual. Neku has had three entry fees prior to the duel - His memories, Shiki, and the rest of the players. Judging from the shift in entry fees, Neku has grown from a completely apathetic adolescent to a compassionate human being. So at this point, we could assume that his entry fee was all of Shibuya.

There's a problem with that though, being that Shibuya still exists despite losing the duel. Some people have speculated that Hanekoma/KAT was the real entry fee, and I could see how that works - KAT was indeed special to Neku, especially during the ending sequences of the third week.

Of course, they might have left out that bit of information because they felt it was irrelevant at the time too.

Neku lost the duel, but he won the true challenge which Joshua presented him. If Neku had pulled the trigger, Joshua would have lost faith in humanity and wiped everything clean. Instead, Neku gave up and forfeited the duel, displaying his growth as a character to an otherwise apathetic Joshua.
