Title explains it. My answer is no way. Wii 2 won't be gamecube compatible and GCN had some awesome games (Rayman 3, zelda Wind waker, mario sunshine) I didn't have to sell my ds lite to get my 3ds so I would just save up for the wii 2.

Nope, becuase I don't have a Wii.

Seeing that they said that Wii 2, would have better motion controls than the Move, I'm guessing that they moved from infrared sensing techonolgy. That makes it incompatable with today's wii games. So compatabilty is a question at the moment.

Mah beloved gamecube games would not go to waste though, as i still have mah cube.
Anyway, it might be backwards compatible with gc anyway.

Well just saying I think the rumors must be real 2004 the ds was announced and a year later the wii was announced. So it is sort of obvious.

Its too early for me to decide. All we have right now are rumors.

depends if the launch line up is good..unlike...a certain handheld.. :P

If it's FULLY backwards compatible then yes, I will sell. But they're probably going to have some sort of thing where you can transfer your VC purchases, in which case I'm going to have to hold on to the Wii for a little while until I can do the transfer...THEN i will sell.
