Hello to the forums!

You know how when you go on a plane, they put the luggage through an X-Ray? Does it affect the memory/data of the 3DS or other devices?

No, I've been taking all sorts of electronics and storage media through shoddy asian xray machines for more than 15 years, and nothing has ever happened.

Couldn't you just carry it with you? I've never actually flown anywhere, so I don't know if that is a thing.

No matter how you choose to carry it, it'll always go through xray. But it's harmless for electronics.

I've had many electronics go through airport x-ray systems including laptops, game consoles, cell phones and I have never had any damage to any of them.
