Default Xbox Live Rewards and Bing Rewards team up

I just checked my email, and I happened to get this email from Microsoft:

Rascal0302,
As a loyal Gold Xbox LIVE Rewards member, you've been given access to VIP Exclusives - a limited-time offer from Xbox LIVE Rewards and Bing Rewards.
Enter the passcode now to learn about this exclusive opportunity to receive 200 Microsoft Points and how to earn more for searching and exploring with Bing.
Enjoy!
Xbox LIVE Rewards Squad

Turns out, simply by using the Bing Bar for searches, we can get Bing Credits(it would seem to be a maximum of 36 a day) to purchase random things, one of them being Microsft points, though there was other things like facebook money and such. For example, 400 Microsoft Points costs 500 Bing credits, and since I got an initial 250 plus the 36 for today...286 credits aint to bad to start.

Now, I'm not sure if this Bing Rewards thing has been out and Microsoft just teamed up with them(if this is so, sorry for making it seem like a new thing), or if this is the testing phase for Bing, but regardless, this is the start of something really cool. Has anyone else gotten an email, and even if you haven't, what are your thoughts? Happy? Surprised? Skeptical?

I haven't. Probably another American only promotion. But it sounds awesome! Any ideas what you plan to use them on?

I got an invite too.

Not going to use them at all, but I shall enjoy those free Microsoft Points I got for registering.

Weird, I typed in a lot of random stuff last night and I had no problems with it. Everything I had the intention to search was always there...

Maybe they got better?

Bing at one point was busted for stealing Google's search results.

So yes, they got better.
