The most interesting news was Minecraft, and I already own the superior version for the PC.

Yes, only game that really got my interest were the two Halos and Gears of War 3. I know they're really trying to push Kinect but for what it's worth they didn't have ANYTHING that struck me as a good hardcore game using the motion controls like Socom or Metroid Prime.

Halo is probably up there with Metroid and Pokemon as my favourite game franchise but 2 teaser trailers isn't even close to enough to make me consider the Xbox conference a success.

Quite possibly even more boring than Nintendo 08.

And maybe, just maybe, more embarrassing than Sony 05.

I realize that Microsoft had a bad time, probably even worse than Nintendo in 2008. Although, they did add to their Kinnect lineup, which was probably their best move.

I'm lookin' into the Sony event now.
