I like it on 3d.Because it looks cool and it is fun on 3d

Pop-Out 3D Effect for the win, my friend. ^_^

I never really noticed a difference, to be honest, but if I had to choose I'd pick the top one.

I like the exaggerated 3D more so than the inward 3D, mostly because the inward 3D seems to put a lot of stress on my eyes.

I like the pop out. Makes me feel more like I'm in the game when stuff is in your face

default "pop-out" (d-pad up) for most levels
deeper 3d (d-pad down) for the levels when mario is decending great heights viewed from above like 1-3. The deep d-pad down 3d makes these levels amazing to look at.
guess its pesonal preferance though, so nice to have the option.

I like the 2nd one which gives more depth to the game.

It also depends on the level and current situation.

I like switching between them.

The bottom one where it looks like it's inside the 3ds.
