During the final battle of world 8, there was one part where bowser threw barrels at mario. this was an obvious reference to donkey kong. do you guys think its possible that a donkey kong game could be being made for the 3ds?

I noticed that right away and thought it was awesome! As for a Donkey Kong game on the 3DS, I think it's very much possible.

I didn't even think about that. I thought Bowser throwing barrels was just part of the game, but Donkey Kong never crossed my mind. It would definitely be sweet if a DK game was being made for the 3DS. Let's keep our finger crossed?

DK on 3DS would be da bomb, except just because there is a bowser DK referance doesn't really mean it is coming onto the system :/ I would excpect a future Donkey Kong title since N64 got DK64, Gamecube with DKJungleBeat, Wii with DKCR, and DS with king of swing.

Yeah I thought of that too.. There's also one track on the game (I forget which level..) that sounds a lot like a DKC track.

Yeah i think it is, To my knowledge (Correct me if im wrong) There has not been a Nintendo console that hasn't had DK game.

If there is a Donkey Kong Country for 3DS, I will buy it.

I too would like to have donkey kong country returns for the 3DS because I don't have a wii and would like to give this game a try
