I am new to Mario 3d land. I have past the first 5 worlds. There are two lands in world 5 that require 30 and 50 star medals that I have not been too yet because I do not have enough medals. So how do I get to world 6? Thanks for the help.

Currently playing----- Mario Kart 7 and Layton 4!

Go back and collect star medals from previous levels.
Once you have 50, open up the World 5 Castle. Beating it will let you move on.

You should definitely try to collect the medals when you have the chance. A lot of the games content is unlocked through them.

Best way to play the game is to get through a level, then go back into it and explore a bit more until you find all three star coins. Also be sure to get a gold flag finish one of your runs through.
