Mini Mario maybe and Giant Mario. And yes I did play New SML on DS

Not many Koopas in the 3DS version.
No Lakitu.

Also not much use for Flower Power in the game. Fire Power was kinda rendered mute, in comparison to it being all about the Tanooki.

They could of included the big mushroom again like in NSMB. Also the bosses could have been more intricate than some bowser henchmen.

I wish 3D Land designed the levels around using the powerups, instead of just making them an upgrade.

In the Galaxy games I loved how items like the Fire Flower and Cloud ability were a part of the level design, having specific puzzles and sections focusing on their unique abilities. The Tanooki Suit and Boomerangs, on the other hand, just let you plow through the levels faster without much thought. Their functions were interesting and I wish they took more advantage of it.

Seriously, name one section of the game that actually needed the statue ability.
