Default My honest opinion on Super Mario 3D Land

Hi!

So I want to post this topic about my honest opinion on Nintendo's upcoming first original Mario portable game for the Nintendo 3DS, Super Mario 3D Land.

I, until now, am very excited for this game, and my game will hopefully arrive on 3rd November, which is exactly next week, but there are some...or most parts I really don't get the feeling of the "real Mario game feel".

Back in the 90s, when I owned Super Nintendo (until now actually), I remember me and my sister used to play Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World EVERYDAY to find and finish all the secrets, and they were fun. I want to be honest, I love Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, and they were the best Mario games.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is the best Mario game, in my opinion, due to many fun contents, like; so many hidden paths, so many fun power-up suits, and outstanding level designs.

When I played New Super Mario Bros. DS and Wii, I didn't have that "real Mario game feel" because I realized that there aren't really a lot of secrets to find and many memorable stages. I actually can remember EVERY stages in Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World (same goes for Donkey Kong Country 1, and 2, but not 3, because I hated that game). Super Mario Galaxy 1, and 2 is a different story, but I am not going to talk about it (but what I can say about the Super Mario Galaxy series is that I FRIGGIN' LOVE THEM, so don't think I hate them).

Now I maybe excited for Super Mario 3D Land, because not just the Tanooki Suit, but because they're bringing most themes from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, but I am really worried because I am afraid to have the same feeling as how I felt when I played New Super Mario Bros. DS and Wii.

I cannot judge now, but hopefully when I do get my copy and play the game on 3rd November, I really hope that I will get that "real Mario game feel" just as how I feel when playing Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.

I am actually going to do a playthrough videos and upload them on Youtube in day 1, so whenever the first episode is uploaded, I'll share the video with you.

I hope it has tons of secrets and stuff like the older ones.
It it doesn't...oh well....I'm sure I'll enjoy it extremely though.
It will be my first mario adventure game that I buy and own since Mario64.

I actually haven't owned one since then, but I have played a little bit of mario galaxy.
