i don' get wifi and i always have to go to my cousins house to get online.should nintendo make the 3DS with 3G capabilitysfor all those who are not connected wirelessly?

As long as they still offer a Wi-Fi only version like Sony is doing with the PS Vita, I'm fine with that.

But we can expect some replies from Americans saying stuff such as "As long as they don't use AT&T, I'm fine with that". I don't know how AT&T is because we don't have that in Quebec, if not in the whole Canada.

I think they would have to do that. It raises the price so much that they have to maintain the less expensive option. I would find it very convenient though.

If you don't have wi-fi at your house, there are other options.

I should have said "worth the extra cost".

@OP: Connectify is an option if you don't have a wireless internet connection but do have a computer than can produce a wireless signal.

Well worth of extra cost is only something the individual can decide. I am certainly glad Sony gave me the option. I sometimes have to wait a couple hours for my girlfriend to get off work with no wifi in sight, but having 3G will be awesome for this.

I need the 3g most definitively. Do not have high speed net at my house at the moment. I just tether my connection from my Samsung galaxy s2 to my 3ds. Works and runs smoother just downloading sucks a little.

As if the 3DS battery needed to get any worse...
