Default Best way to clean 3DS?

What is the best way to clean a 3DS' screen (with protector) and around the screen?

Anything that can damage the 3DS?

I just breath on the screen/around the screen and use my glasses cloth. :P (This also works with the cloth that comes with some hdtvs)

Sandpaper, this will also reduce glare... >_<

But seriously, make sure there is no dust / dirt on the screen(protector) and use a microfiber cloth. If you don't have any you can buy them at your local optician (and might get one for free ^_~).
With the cloth, gently whipe off the smudges.

I'm kinda crazy. I put a very small drop of dawn into a bowl and fill it with hot water. I mix it up real good and then soak a paper towel and then squeeze out all the excess. Then, I wipe the the DS down section by section immediately followed my a dry paper towel. Does wonders! NEVER EVER USE SOLVENTS like windex.

Paper towels are the devil. Really, they can be quite abrasive if you're not careful. I use a microfiber cloth that came with my dad's Vizio tv. It works perfectly and keeps my 3DS looking brand spankin' new!

I agree. For the screens, one should avoid using paper towels and even tissues because they do cause scratches.

Personally I'd never use paper towels. I've seen enough glasses returned with scratches 'cos they uses paper towels.

Really, microfiber cloths are king. Just make sure the microfibe is CLEAN! Keep it away from sand etc. And don't put it in you pocket. Just keep a cloth in you 3DS case if you have one.
Oh, and never use force to clean! If the smudges won't go use a damp(! not wet) cloth to temove them.

I'm pretty picky about cleaning screens. I hate smudges but I hate scratches even more.
I had a wallpaper that said "DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN" or "TOUCH THE SCREEN AND DIE" on my netbook I take with me to school. Because everybody touches my screen when they point at something.

I love that Mactire. I have a 3d monitor on my pc and my wife always touches it when pointing at something. Maybe I need a new background.
