You play with 1 brightness? Don't you find that a detracts from the experience?

Has battery life really been an issue for you or are you just paranoid?

Default Settings

With a 3DS game...

3D Max
Volume Middle
Brightness 2
Wireless Functions On.
Power Save Mode On.

With a DS game...

3D off (dur)
Volume Middle
Brightness 2
Wireless Functions Off
Power Save On.

For offline:

Brightness:1
Sound: Headphones; in lower half
3D: Off
Power Saving: On
WiFi: Off
Other: Nyko Power Pak+

Level 4 brightness with no powesaving mode, 3D on, and mid volume. With all these settings on and the Nyko power pack on the back, I get about five to five and a half hours of battery life.

I use power-saving mode and half the time I mute it and I never have internet connection on unless I am using it.

For me... Level 3 brightness with power-saving mode on, wifi on, max volume and 3D off(Unless it's a new game or the 3D is really awesome).

I only use power saving when I'm about to put my 3DS in sleep mode even though that really shouldn't make a difference...Otherwise, I normally have:

Brightness - 3
Volume - Medium
Wi - Fi - Always on

at home:
Brightness level 1-3 most of the time
Wireless on
Powersave on
3D on most of the time
Volume: Max and some times head phones

CAR/elswhere
random brightness lvl that will let me see
wireless on
powersave on unless I need to see the damn screen
and 3D usually off.
music: IDK here its totally random.

got a 3DS car charger, and 3 wall chargers 2 of which came from a DSi/XL's that are still in my house some wheres.
