Default Do you think that the 3DS will ever have a game achieving innovative brilliance?

Nintendo is known for its innovation, perhaps that is why nearly everyone in America owns a Wii. The NES had a D-Pad, and games like Super Mario Bros., Metroid, and Zelda. The SNES had the chip allowing games like Star Fox and Donkey Kong Country to exist. The N64 put all of these classic games into 3D. The Gamecube had lots of great new ideas, Mario Sunshine, Kirby Airride, F-Zero GX, etc. The Wii added motion controls, and the Wii U has a touch pad controller.

Sure, the 3DS has 3D, but do you think that it will have a game that scores a perfect 10/10? Super Mario Galaxy 2, Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, were all awarded 10/10, these games were brilliat. Do you think the 3DS will have a game that is not only close to perfection, but a game that you can play for years and still get excitement out of?

Kid Icarus Uprising has a chance, as does Paper Mario 3D. Super Mario 3D Land was great, but it definitely wasn't as revolutionary as the previous four 3D Mario games.

I think the 3ds could be the console to have a perfected shooter game that uses motion controls. I mean motion controls are great and all, but they just aren't 100% "there" yet imo. I could see the 3ds really perfecting the concept, especially for a shooting type game.

I have a hard time seeing it. I think Metroid Prime 3 did this well enough. I'm thinking a platformer or a puzzle game.

But you never know, you could have a point.

I'm not sure, but anything can happen. Most consoles have at least a few games with perfect scores.

Well now i dont think there's any first-party games that achieve this "Brilliance" That the other games had.

Well Mario 3D Land certainly wasnt perfect.
I dont really think Kid Icarus : Uprising stands a chance of getting a perfect 10 but those are just my thoughts..

So far i think the 3rd party games are kicking the 1st party games butts.
Seriously
Metal Gear Solid : Snake Eater 3D and Resident Evil : Revelations are the best 3DS games out there now.

I think that it's the 3DS's communication features that will outshine the 3D. The next Pokemon game has so much potential for Streetpass/Spotpass/Wi-fi. I feel like all Pokemon games up until this point were leading up to a more social experience that can be achieved with the 3DS.

When CoD introduced the blur affect when aiming down the sight, I had wondered if they were ever going to make that possible. Then the 3ds came out and ever since I have been anticipating a fps that would give that effect naturally. It could happen.

Yeah, if game freak can make good use of those features, The next Pokemon game will definitely be 10/10 IMO

Having 2 pokedex's, one normal, the other street pass, everyone you street pass with, there normal dex Pokemon, (a random 3) will go into your street pass dex

Add the poketch, Pokemon walk with you, moving battle sprites, and I will be one happy pokefreak!!!

Anyway...
I thought RE:R got a perfect 10?
I can see KI:U getting it as well, well from David that is
3DSAqua and Natsu_Dragneel like this.
