Remember when Nintendo would tell us about a presentation a month or so before it took place? And most people would leave somewhat disappointed?

Well, do you think Nintendo is announcing their presentations a day before it takes place so that people don't have enough time to formulate a bunch of threaded ideas and beliefs about what may go down?

I think this is a great idea, because now we don't have to wait in agony for weeks knowing when a presentation is. We get a days notice, and we get a day to dream, and then we see that it's simply smaller items and release dates.

Either way, this is great because it halts having too much speculation. I think most viewers leave satisfied with the way they have it going now.

We already got tons of AC info a long time ago, not really much more to announce for that game (at least that I can think of... I'm not thinking hard enough!), also not sure what you could announce for LM2 just becasue it's about Luigi the Ghost Buster.

3ds doesnt allocate enough ram to its default browser to make the more interesting of those options feasible (not to mention not paying for a video codec or flash player for the default browser)....

So I agree that if they are going to do it, an application that puts the systems resources at the full disposal of those applications would be the sensible thing to do. Unlike the vita, the 3ds doesnt have the ram capacity to multitask these applications. Even if fcram is the fastest on the market, capacity is capacity.

But honestly, sounds like a waste of money to me.

Anyones whos expecting applications like that have those expectations because they already have applications that do it. Namely, smart phones. Hell everyone has one now. Im always on my android regaurdless of how brief an amount of time Im waiting.

Smart phones are much smaller and more accessible for this type of thing, and I dont see anyone REALLY WANTING to use the 3ds for these functions over their Iphone or android. Particularly when you can only get online when at home (or a hotspot) or you are using the 3g IN your smartphone to get the 3ds online. In which case... why would you not just use the smart phone for these apps?

I think people just expect it to be there because its practically on every mobile device..... that 99% of people already have. I know I would tinker around with it on 3ds, and vita, say cool, this thing has this, and then never touch it again because I have a smartphone already. I dont think Im alone.

I do think a youtube app would be worth it, if it was youtube 3d. Particularly for viewing 3ds videos in... 3D.

I would use that.
