Really? I downloaded an update not too long ago for them unless that was a different update, I think it just had some bug fixes or something. Though it's possible I was using the UK eShop at the time; if it's available there.

All games have updates (they happened a long time ago now) however Super Mario Bros. has a different update that allows you to use save states so you can easily complete the game.

I'm assuming the update button that hasn't had anything yet is for game cards, but we'll see later on when its actually used. (what I mean is I guess it checks for updates for the game you have in the slot)

The Mario update has a different update because the game was released on the eshop in Japan. The other NES titles for Ambassadors just got ambiguous updates.

The reason that the Updates are all in the "Your Downloads" section is because they haven't been released on the eShop, with the exception of Super Mario Bros., which is why Super Mario Bros.'s update was in the Updates section, while the rest weren't.

Though I'm confused as to why the Netflix update is only available through the "Your Downloads" section.

If thats the case then brb downloading a boatload of updates for all my 3DS st00f. Only went to eShop during 2k11, idk how many funds I have now...

EDIT: nvm not wasting my time, I will update Mario tomorrow though.

You should do it anyways, at least for the Ambassador Certificate.

They are supposed to be bug fixes, and it would suck to figure out one of the bugs while playing, and not be able to get past a point or something.

Doing all of the updates took me less than 15 minutes, so it's not terrible if you've got something else to do at the same time, like say browsing these forums >.>

Downloaded the updates a couple of days ago, nothing special. I assume the reason the SMB update was so big was because the game subsequently came out on the eShop, so we'll get similar updates for the NES games (with the new, cool icons) once those titles hit the eShop for wide download as well.
