AR Games.(I wish they'd do more with them)
Circle Pad. (So much better than a D-Pad)
Great graphics.
Being able to suspend games and take pictures, browse the internet etc.
The ability to make songs sound like The Chipmunks.

My favorite feature about the Nintendo 3DS are streetpass, the AR games and the 3D which is awesome!

This is kind of a cliché answer, but the system's power. The fact that the 3DS can handle as much power as the Nintendo 64 left me surprised as it is, but the fact that it's nearly equivalent in power to the PlayStation 2 is just astounding.
