It's early in the system's life, Nintendo is preparing for a huge E3, and Revelations and MGS3D just came out. So... I'm fine.

I think like the OP that this year is off to a super slow start for people in the West. Of those titles you mentioned, ALL are Japanese titles, two are ports hyped into big games even though they're really old games, and three might not/will not make it outside of Japan. Where are the Western games? Where are Nintendo's other IPs besides Mario? Where are the third-party games that are not ultra-Japanese?

Luckily, I still get plenty of play-time from Mario Kart 7 and Need for Speed: The Run, but I do have to say that I didn't think I would buy a PSV because there would be so much to buy on the 3DS, and in the end I bought a PSV because there's not much right now I'm excited for. I still have to buy RE: Revelations but that's it. I might give Kid Icarus a try, but I'd like to try a demo first.

I would say only first party content for the 3ds is quiet right now. 3rd party titles like Metal Gear and Resident Evil just came out, and they are pretty significant.

Yeah, I don't know if E3 is anything special for 3DS owners in Japan since they keep getting Japanese game announcements in Nintendo Direct and in Famitsu, but for Western owners, E3 is all we have pretty much. I have high hopes.

What's going to be great is that it will be the first E3 where both the 3DS and the PSV are out, so ****'s gonna get real.

Nintendo's just getting you really bored. . . THEN. . . 2012's games come out and you literally die of excitement! Ok hopefully you won't die. . . unless you want to. . . yeah. . .
