Knuckles is only fifteen? News to me. Do Sonic characters age?

Alright guys, I wanted to sufficiently play this game enough to explain my thoughts on the game. I've also looked online at vids of the original game for comparisons sake. So I guess what many people are wanting to know is how the retail version compares to demo on the e-shop since there have been varying answers. So the easy question is: is the demo representative of the final build? The answer is well yes and no. One specific everyone wants to know is about the framerate. While there isn't a night and day difference between the demo's framerate and the retail versions, there does seem to be an improvement. I guess the best way to describe it is that the bad framerate in the demo is the absolute worst you will see in this game, especially in terms of the cutscenes. The few cutscenes in the demo do show pretty much how they flow in the retail release. The difference is that not all cutscenes are that bad. It's hard to describe and probably has most to do with what's going on in the cutscene at the time but while some seem choppy at times, others seem to flow better and more fluidly. Basically the cutscene framerate isn't great but it's not horrible either. It's the cutscenes where things are slow that it seems more noticeable while the faster more action oriented cutscenes look much better. For example the couple of cutscenes in the demo are comparable to their retail counterparts with maybe only a slight difference BUT the cutscene with snake performing his HALO jump is MUCH better. They're also about comparable to the original games cutscenes, the main difference is the lack of the blurriness that seemed to hide a lot of the original game's short comings. The good thing is that the framerate during gameplay is fine and pretty stable regardless of if you have the 3D effect on or off. Graphically the demo seems to come up short in some areas compared to the retail version. For example the bridge seemed less jagged along with the blades of grass in several areas. Some of the textures seemed a LOT better such as the infamous red brick walls, especially when compared to that one really bad screenshot that was released a few months ago. The lighting in the game is nice and overall this version is MUCH more vibrant and colorful than the original release which had a sort of green hue and blurriness over everything. Overall this game is a LOT of fun and I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy the idea of stealth games. That being said it isn't for everyone. This game has a slow deliberate pace and a big emphasis on story. You will spend the majority of the first hour or so of the game watching videos, but that's alright because the story is REALLY good, especially with the way it weaves itself in with real history. If you've got a love of Cold War history, espionage, etc. then you will probably fall in love with the story. If you've never played this game or Metal Gear Solid at all then this is as good a time as any to jump in to the series, and because this is a prequel you won't be missing any vital plot points for the most part other than some light references to previous titles but it won't do any harm. Pros: -Vivid Colors -Gameplay improvements (crouch walking, touch screen inventory, over the shoulder aiming) -Amazing story -It's Metal Gear Solid 3 considered the best of the whole series by many, 'nuff said -Some graphical improvements such as character models Cons: -Cutscene framerate is less than desired -......ummm......hmmm....no that's it

You know, I'm beginning to appreciate the digital booklets that comes with the game. At first I didn't like it but once I started to use them, I appreciated how much more convenient it was to just pause the game and bring up the digital rules. Also, they are not all text. They have pictures when necessary.
