New features for the series:
*Dual Battles fighting against an enemy.
*Characters can Cut In Off before they perform a Critical Attack.


Story:
The plot revolves around two dragons: one to protect humanity and the other meant to destroy it. Both dragons awaken when two heroes (each with the mark of a dragon) meet. This sets the end of the world in motion.

The game has two main characters. One of them is the Krom. He is the Prince of the Kingdom of Iris. The other main character is of your own creation, with choices in regards to gender, their face etc.

Your custom-made character in Fire Emblem Awakening has amnesia and when he/she awakens, Krom and his sister Rizu are next to you. After a demonstration of your commanding skills, you join Krom and his vigilante group. The game features three difficulty settings and you’ll be able to choose between Casual Style, which makes the game easier, and Classic Style, which features all the standard features of the game including the permanent death of your allies.

Downloadable content:
It has been completely confirmed that there will be paid downloadable content for Fire Emblem: Awakening when it arrives on the 3DS on April 19th. There will be new maps and episodes on offer as a set, although Satoru Iwata has assured everyone that the game will still have its own full story. The first set of DLC will be free until May 31st.
