Camera's not going to be a problem. It's lifted out of Subsistence, so it has 3D movement. It also supports the second analog stick accessory, so that won't be a problem.
As for controls, they seem to be lifted straight out of Peace Walker, which controlled fine. And, again, it supports the second analog stick.

The game does support the second analog stick accessory, and there's a new CG render of Volgin, the primary antagonist:
You should ask a mod if you can take over this OT. You seem to know mpre about this game than the OP does.

Doesn't seem very high on their priorities list. Seems like they're showing less than usual. I wonder if it's because they're hiding something for a surprise or if because they're embarrassed about something. Lol

I'd consider picking this up if it had a solid 30fps frame rate, but it really is looking like crap against the HD versions that even has an online mode. I have a 360 so I don't see much of a point in picking this up.

Series' producer Hideo Kojima stated that if a Metal Gear game for the 3DS is actually made they would consider some elements from the PlayStation Portable title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, including the game's co-ops cooperative gameplay system. - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Any news on this?

I am excited for it. The last one I played was the one that came with the Ps3.

If you haven't played Peace Walker, do yourself a favor and pick it up, its most likely going to be the best portable MGS released to date.

That was when the game was still in the "Naked Sample" phase, when it had all the near-MGS4 graphics and stuff. He said a while back that something that he had been working on for a while was now "meaningless." This, added to the fact that the 3DS seems to be less powerful than it was back at E3 2010 (compare the RE: Revelations debut trailer to the recent footage), maybe the Naked Sample is not possible anymore, thus the drastic drop in quality. Oh, and Jonny, how would I go about with taking over the OT?

I've only seen one area where Revelations doesn't look as good as it did at E3 2010. MGS 3D was definitely given a major downgrade compared to the E3 2010 version. The problem is likely the fact that the Naked Sample was specifically made for the 3DS and properly updated with new textures and new models substituted in while the version we're actually getting seems to be a direct port of the PS2 version which was originally made with an engine running on a completely different GPU. The difference in GPU architecture and API structure likely made it a difficult port and after the decision to make the HD version there wasn't much reason to continue to put much of an effort into this version.
