Today, Masahiro Sakurai confirmed via Twitter that he is done with Kid Icarus Uprising, and is now working on Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U. He is searching for the team, and searching for ideas.

So, what do you think? Will Sonic and Snake return? What new characters and stages do you want?

Personally, if they keep Sonic, they should add Knuckles.
Also, I want a Pushmo themed stage, the blocks could be coming in and out. It could be randomly generated, and change each time you play.

Mm, yes! Bowser Jr. definitely. Possibly Shadow Mario. I love Super Mario Sunshine.

Sonic will most definitely make a return. They will probably add Tails and Knuckles. Snake will probably be back, because of his 3DS game.

I'm wondering what they'll do with Zelda. Will she look like she did in Skyward Sword, or will she look more like a princess?

I want the ability to make more detailed custom stages, and be able to take a picture of something and then make that picture the stage or background.

Great ideas there. I loved Zelda's Skyward Sword model.
What about new takes on old characters, such as Paper Mario, Yarn Kirby, etc.

As long as this game has a great cast of characters, a good story mode like brawl, and some much improved online (unlike the crappy online play for the wii) with a touch of a more flushed out stage editor, I'll like the game...

It's always cool looking forward to surprises.

And I'm curious as to what the function between the 3DS and Wii U version will be

Can we stop stating our guesses as fact? It can be mildly misleading.

I want a Skyward Sword or Minish Cap inspired stage. I'd prefer if the amount of 3rd party characters were kept to a minimum. I think Megaman might make a good 3rd party character, but I don't really care if he gets in or not.
