I find I must use both, some moves I can't get to work on the cpad and vice versa...kinda odd.

Just picked the game up a couple of days ago, after being in my wishlist for quite some time.

Owning both the PC and iPhone versions, I must say I find the port almost perfect. However, I found the controls somewhat unsatisfactory. Tried the C-Pad but, as some have said, it doesn't provide the same amount of accuracy and precision as the D-Pad. The 3DS's D-Pad, however, just doesn't seem to have been built for this type of games. It seems to have a very slim height, comparing to other Nintendo consoles (never played with a DSi or DSi XL), making it almost leveled with the console's case when pressed. After an hour of gameplay I've got a considerable amount of pain on my thumb.

I'm going to disassemble the console soon to do something about the hinge's looseness and might as well try to play around with the D-Pad, see if I can add some extra bulkiness by replacing the rubber beneath it.
