| And here we go: 1. What is the Ambassador Program? That's a great question, [INSERT YOUR NAME HERE]. The Ambassador Program, which from now on will be referred to as AP, is a way for Nintendo to give reparations to those who bought the 3DS before the price drop in August. 2. So what does the AP consist of? The AP will consist of 20 games: 10 Nintendo Entertainment System games and 10 GameBoy Advance Games. 3. What are the games I'll be able to download? Well, so far we only know some of the games. Check the list below to see which games are confirmed in your region. Japan: NES Games- Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Wrecking Crew, NES Open Tournament Golf, Yoshi, Metroid, Zelda II: The Adventure of LinkNorth America: NES Games- Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Wrecking Crew, NES Open Tournament Golf, Yoshi, Metroid, Zelda II: The Adventure of LinkEurope: NES Games- Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Wrecking Crew, NES Open Tournament Golf, Mario & Yoshi, Metroid, Zelda II: The Adventure of LinkAustralia: NES Games- Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Wrecking Crew, NES Open Tournament Golf, Mario & Yoshi, Metroid, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link4. Wait, this is the Nintendo 3DS. Does that mean all the games will be in 3D? The AP games are not in 3D nor have they announced that a 3D version will be made available later so its safe to assume they'll never be in 3D. 5. When will I be able to download my games? The NES games are already available for download in North America, Japan, Europe, and Australia. The GBA games will be available for download sometime before the end of 2011 in all regions. 6. That's all fine and dandy, but how do I know if I'm even an ambassador? If you are in Japan, use the handy tool found here: ƒjƒ“ƒeƒ“ƒh[3DS ƒAƒ“ƒoƒTƒ_[EƒvƒƒOƒ‰ƒ€ “o˜^‚Šm”F‚‚ If you are in North America, this is where you should go: | Nintendo 3DS - Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program If Europe is where you reside, try this handy tool out: http://microsite.nintendo-europe.com/ambassador/ If you live in Australia, then check this site out: http://gamesites.nintendo.com.au/nin...en_AU/test.php 7. So I already found out that I'm an Ambassador and the NES games are currently out. How do I download them? Another fine question, [INSERT YOUR NAME HERE]. To download the NES games simply head on over to the eShop. Once there scroll on over to Settings/Other. Click on Settings/Other and scroll down to Your Downloads. From there you just scroll down till you see the NES games. Once you find said NES games, just click on Redownload and the process will begin. If you my instructions are too confusing for you, then just click this link for a video by our very own Mohdfikree showing you exactly what you must do: 3DS Ambassador Program: 10 free NES games (how to download) - YouTube 8. This is awesome. But I still have some questions. What features do the NES and GBA games have? Can I play with other people? Can I save whenever I want? That's a great question. These are the known features the NES and GBA games will have when they are first released. NES: Alternating multiplayer, VC Suspend (which allows you to save the game when the Home Button is pressed)These are the features that will be added at a later date when the full games are available. NES: Full manual, Versus Play, Restore Point system (which allows you to to create and load restore points at any time while gameplay),9. But what if I buy another 3DS. Can I transfer my games to my new handheld? You will be able to transfer your AP games with the System Transfer tool that will be made available in a future update. 10. I just have one more question. How do I save on the NES games that are out? How do I change from Player 1 to Player 2? To activate the VC Suspend function while playing a NES game simply press the Home Button and then press X to exit the game. This will save your data. DO NOT change to another game while you are still on the NES game. This will delete your data. To change from Player 2 to Player 2 on games that support that feature simply hold the L and R shoulder buttons and press the Y button. This will switch you from Player 1 to Player 2 and vice-versa. The EU list of NES games are the same as other regions. Was pretty obvious, but now there's confirmation. |
