Default broken game card

Hi there,

so last week i sold my mario land 3ds on ebay and when the buyer received the item, she said her 3ds cannot recognise it. Thinking it through, I think I might take out the card while the software is still suspended (I forgot to close it), although the 3ds itself was asleep at that time (thats why I took the card out straight away, I thought it was turned off).

My question is is the game card broken for good ? any way to fix it ?

thank you

I really doubt that would mess up the entire card.Maybe her 3ds has contact issues with the pins?

Has she confirmed that other games work besides 3d land?

thats what I thought as well
but apparently she said its working with other games

Im actually kind of suspicious that she bought the game only to trade it with her broken game and then refund, but I dont really have any evidence...................

Did you actually ask the buyer or just assume?

Though I suppose it is possible that they're trying to scam you...

Maybe their 3DS may be from a different region than the one you play on. I know one person who lives near me and they have a European 3DS and European games. Thy live in the same region as me in the US, but they can't play the US games on their European 3DS.

When putting 3DS games on eBay, make sure to make it well-know which region the game is from to prevent region conflict issues with systems.
