Don't worry, it's meant to happen... Kittens wonder around on nintendogs just like they do in real life^-^ Occasionally it might come back with a little present

After some period of time (30 minutes? 45 minutes? not sure exactly) of no activity, one of the cats in the room will take off, and the next time you touch the screen it will run back in with a gift box. This is supposed to be Nintendo's way to justify having cats since you can't do competitions with them or take them outside on walks. Honestly, having cats is its own justification, but I'm not one to turn down free gift boxes either.
