| Kind of new to the 3DS forums (official hello~). Um right, so the problem: I got the Limited Edition Zelda 3DS for Christmas and at first loved it... Then I slowly started realizing its problems. The first one? The internet connectivity. It connected to the internet, but it didn't tell me it was. the icon at the top left would always just say "enabled", even though I could be using the browser perfectly. That may not seem like that big a deal, but my friends list would not work at all. Every time I tried to register someone over the internet, it would say I wasn't connected to the internet! How irritating. The other problem was purely a design flaw--and apparently a pretty common with with 3DS owners. My touch screen was ruining my 3D display. It had started leaving permanent marks on the near edges of my upper display. Luckily, this all happened within the warranty's effective date, so I called Nintendo and they were very understanding and got my repair set up right away. I dropped it off in a FedEx dropbox today--and now I'm having some second thoughts. I was just wondering how Nintendo's repair system worked? The idea of just leaving my 3DS in a box filled with crumpled paper for padding on the side of the street is starting to get to me, and it may seem creepy that I act like I'm emotionally attached to it, but it's nearly brand new and I really enjoy it! The only thing I know of that comes out of getting a repair is that your warranty gets "re-extended" by a year... |

Shouldnt you be checking your router instead regarding your internet connectivity? And about you sending your 3DS for repair, just cross your fingers that they repair it fast so you could play with it again.

It'll be fine! Mailboxes are made so no one can break into them. And from what I've heard you will get a shiny like-new system in a few weeks.

Figured I'd post this here instead of making a new thread. My 3DS started getting those scratches as well, when I set up a repair with nintendo,do they send you a shipping label or do you have to print it out yourself? |
