I've successfully performed a system transfer from and Ambassador 3DS to a Zelda 3DS. My circumstances were a little odd, but now that I've been through it once, if you've got any questions about the process ask me and I should be able to answer with confidence.

Heres a question with some odd circumstances...

Here are the circumstances: Bought the Zelda 3ds... enjoyed it since Black Friday up until now.. really wanted the Ambassador games, was able to get a black 3DS with the ambassador cert.

Question; Will I lose my Find Mii II progress if I transfer the ambassador 3DS ifo onto my system? Please help me out here if you can. Thanks.

Yes. Sadly you will lose all progress on the built-in software. But, you will be gaining the ambassador games. It's a tough situation to be in and I feel your pain, but in the long run it's worth it for the free games and the ever popular ambassador video!

aww man! my gf is gonna be devastated! It's her 3DS that she wants to do this to. what if she trsnsfers her Zelda 3DS to the ambassador 3DS, n then transfers back after the (what i read somewhere else), "7 day period" which must pass before a system transfer can be done again.

And what is this ambassador video you speak of?

Honestly, this should work for you. However I have not tried this, so I can neither confirm nor deny that this should work the way that you intend it to.

As for the video. That is what the ambassador certificate is. It's a crappy little video that shows you were one of the first fools to pick up the 3ds too damn early. Another kick in the teeth from Nintendo honestly, as it doesn't even play back in 3D...

Why would you transfer the Zelda 3DS to the Ambassador 3DS then transfer back?

In theory, so that all progress on the built-in software is taken from her Zelda 3DS onto the ambassador 3DS. Her info should overwrite the built in software info n combine with the ambassador program games. Then system transfer back to the Zelda 3DS so that she still has all her progress on Find Mii 2 and the ambassador certificate also gets moved onto the Zelda 3DS. Makes sense?

that won't work, the ambassador would be deleted since its not system based, more like eshop account based, so if you transfer to your ambassador 3ds, your eshop account would be deleted, and you wouldn't have ambassador on either system, so if you wan't you have to transfer from your ambassador 3ds to your zelda 3ds, and lose all the zelda 3ds data.

Zelda 3DS data was transferred over to ambassador 3DS, n both her built in software data n ambassador games are one in that system. Zelda 3DS is like a brand new system now. Just waiting the set amount of days before transferring all back the Zelda 3DS. Will post when it gets done.

Worked out exactly how I said it would work. All her built in software info was transferred over (from her LOZ 3DS) to an "Ambassador" status black 3DS, and that her data was then combined with that of the ambassador status already on that black 3DS. After waiting the 7 day waiting period (7 days must pass before doing another system transfer), she transferred the data from the black 3DS back to her LOZ 3DS, and now the LOZ 3DS has ambassador status and she was able to download the ambassador games. Of course, her built in software progress was brought back, so she didn't lose any info as far as Find Mii II and the Puzzle pieces go.
